Easy Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

  • 500 g good quality dark chocolate (50-70%)
  • 75 g unsalted butter
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Line an 8" cake tin with baking parchment
  2. Break the chocolate into pieces and place in a large saucepan with the unsalte4d butter and  condensed milk.
  3. Heat gently and stir until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.
  4. DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL.
  5. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract and beat with a whisk or electric mixer until the  mixture thickens.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and level the top.
  7. Chill the mixture in the fridge until it is firm.
  8. Turn the fudge out onto a chopping board and cut into squares.
